Sub-Editing and Proofreading

I have extensive experience in sub-editing and proofreading trade publications, including Europe Real Estate and ESOMAR’s Research World.  It’s a question of reading with your eyes rather than with your brain.  It’s not just about correcting typos, either – I can spot an extra space that has slipped in between two words, or an apostrophe that’s in the wrong font.  Plus of course compose the most eye-catching headlines and descriptive captions, and make sure that everything conforms to house style.

I can work online, marking up the PDFs on-screen and sending them back with my corrections, or in your office in the Randstad area.  I am familiar with both Dutch and UK/US standard proofreaders’ marks.
